What is the opportunity?
The Service Delivery Manager, Enterprise Platform Services Risk and Compliance Delivery leads the cross functional delivery teams, supporting the strategy and driving of ITIL-based service delivery and Life Cycle Management within Infrastructure Platforms, managing the intake and deployment of Networking, Hosting, Voice, Database, Mainframe and Data Centre solutions, driving a trusted service-provider mentality with Infrastructure Platform internal clients, and managing the supplier relationships with Hardware and software providers. The Service Delivery Manager, Infrastructure Platforms Risk and Compliance Delivery is accountable for an execution and delivery of high value budget and plays a critical role in ensuring TI cost-efficiency targets are achieved.
What will you do?
Drive the development of new project funding proposals (PARs) and supporting material for presentation to Senior Executives within TI and the business to remediate process efficiency and product End of Life exposures.
Manage regional Enterprise Platform Services project delivery teams and manage a diverse team of technical staff and contractors that provide support to the unit globally ensuring alignment with Enterprise Platform Services processes and governance models.
Develop and drive service improvement initiatives and partner with Director / Senior Director and executes the vision, strategy and roadmap for team within Enterprise Platform Services, with a strong focus on automation and innovation across service intake/orchestration, change management and provisioning.
Establishes Service Level requirements with vendors and manages the relationship and performance vendors to ensure availability, maintenance and provisioning targets are met.
Accountable for ensuring that a pipeline of projects is properly defined and governed within Infrastructure Platforms inclusive of scope, funding, and resource allocation.
Provides senior management with timely updates project issues and manages communications including status reports, of active Enterprise Platform Services compliance initiatives.
Builds a high performing team that leverages individual capabilities and strengths, coaches and mentors the team and/or team leaders and provides focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, performance management, career development and rewards strong performance.
Accept and successfully execute change while supporting team members and project teams through the process and keeping them focused on business priorities.
Maintains a highly disciplined technology environment by selecting and utilizing appropriate management tools, methodologies, and practices.
Drive infrastructure optimization technologies to ensure a cost-effective infrastructure.
Promotes continuous improvement in Efficiency & Effectiveness.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
10+ years of experience managing and leading infrastructure delivery teams, with specific expertise driving on premises infrastructure technology within the Financial Services industry.
Bachelor’s degree in IT Infrastructure-related field (i.e. Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or relevant experience in the related field.
Strong prior experience as a Project/Program Manager within IT Infrastructure.
Strong prior experience as a Hosting Network and/or Security Engineer.
Strong understanding of financials.
Nice-to-have:
PMP/ITIL/Agile Certifications.
Familiarity with Database and Mainframe systems.
Extensive Experience supporting the Financial Services industry.
