We're not just another restaurant; we're a vibrant hub where the spirit of the Maritimes meets the energy of the city. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be the face of our establishment, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining and drinking experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve (possibly prepare at times) alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and serve food to customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the server area, including rolling cutlery and napkins
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Be a team player, assisting when needed and coordinating duties with other FOH staff
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- MUST have open availability to pick up shifts from 11am-11pm Sunday through Saturday
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for guests.
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
- Accurate cash handling and transaction management is required
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately.
- A helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers alike.
