Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Process cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with MICROS POS is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Starbucks coffee preparation is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
