Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role requires a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS (Silverware) system, ensuring all details are captured for kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, checking in regularly to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments through cashiering duties, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns regarding their meals.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a server is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided for those unfamiliar.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is beneficial.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary within the restaurant setting.
