Our restaurant is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team:
- 2 Part-Time Employee ( Could be promoted to full-time if qualified)
Training Period: 1–2 days following the interview
Requirements:
1. English Proficiency: Candidates must have professional-level English skills, including fluency in communication, understanding complex questions, food descriptions, and the ability to reassure guests with proper vocabulary. This position requires more than basic English.
2. Cleanliness: Cleanliness is a top priority. You must be able to handle FOH cleaning tasks such as washing glasses, organizing the bar area, and maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness that exceeds typical restaurant standards.
3. Restaurant Experience: Prior experience in the restaurant industry is required. This includes proficiency in using a serving tray, understanding customer needs proactively, and strong observational skills.
4. Physical Capability: You must be able to lift heavy items (e.g., sake cases) and assist with organizing and restocking beverages.
5. Flexible Schedule: Lunch time: 10am - 2pm, Dinner time: 5pm-late. Our operating hours may extend until 1–2 a.m. on certain days. We’re looking for someone with reliable transportation and the flexibility to work late shifts. Please note that while we are near a SkyTrain station, train services may end earlier than our closing time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
