Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and providing recommendations.
- Order Management: Accurately recording orders, communicating them to the kitchen, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Table Maintenance: Ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and stocked with necessary items.
- Payment Processing: Preparing bills, processing payments (cash, credit cards), and handling transactions accurately.
- Guest Satisfaction: Addressing customer needs and concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with other servers and kitchen staff to provide efficient and seamless service.
- Maintaining Dining Area: Keeping the dining area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Other duties assigned by Manager
- Must be able to work evenings/weekends and holidays
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with guests and team members, actively listening, and clearly explaining menu items.
- Customer Service Orientation: Providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service, anticipating guest needs, and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in order taking, table maintenance, and payment processing. .
- Teamwork Skills: Collaborating effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth service.
- Knowledge of Menu and Beverages: Understanding menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest questions
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
