Front of House Staff / Servers

Job Description:
We are hiring for up to 2 part/full-time servers a to work at our location at 2881 Granville St, Vancouver.
The restaurant server will be responsible for:
* Greeting guests and making them feel welcome all throughout their stay * Taking food and drink orders, making suggestions on menu items and specials to our guests
* Attending to guests in a timely manner to ensure they have all they need and want
* Being a gracious host to our guests, immediately addressing all guests concerns and creating a pleasant dining experience
* Delivering exceptional customer service from start to finish
* Keeping each zone clean and tidy and free from mess
* Fully understanding the idea of halal lifestyle, diet, food and drink
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong customer services skills required
* Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Arabic or another second language is an asset.
* Previous serving experience preferred
* Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
*Must have legible handwriting
*Ability to use restaurant computers and Point-of-Sale software platform
Wage/Salary:
$18+ per hour starting plus tips, depending on experience
Schedule:
* Day shifts
* Evening shifts (up to 10pm)
* Holidays
* On-call
