Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a lunch and dinner Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that all guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$29.75 per hour
