Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines during service
- Process payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively
- Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Proven sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus
- Fine dining experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations
- Previous restaurant experience in various roles such as serving, hosting, or bussing is beneficial
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the dining area

Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
