Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from start to finish.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating basic kitchen experience when required.
• Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in food service settings is highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
