Job Summary

Experience
- 3 years of experience in fast paced restaurants is required.
- Knowledge of OpenTable & Toast POS is required.
- Valid Smart Serve is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for guests is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. We use OpenTable for seating.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing strong time management skills. We use Toast POS for order handling.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, while demonstrating knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct and presented beautifully.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with bartending duties as needed, showcasing versatility within the restaurant environment.
- Foster a positive dining experience by providing attentive service and anticipating guest needs.
