The role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SEO Manager to join our dynamic SEO team. As a part of the team, you will have a direct impact on our success by developing and executing effective SEO strategies to expand our reach, so that many more people around the world can enjoy HelloFresh meals.
Apart from a deep understanding of the best practices, data analysis, and content strategy, the ideal candidate will have the technical skills to design and implement programmatic SEO and automation initiatives for all HelloFresh Group websites.
We are hoping hire either in Berlin or Toronto, perks and benefits will differ per location.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and traffic.
- Perform technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations to enhance site performance.
- Own programmatic SEO efforts to automate SEO tasks, as well as to optimize our technical setup and internal linking.
- Optimize website architecture, content, and internal linking to improve search engine crawlability and indexation.
- Work with tech stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of SEO best practices in website coding and structure.
- Work closely with our partners to ensure the successful rollout of our content marketing campaigns.
- Align with local teams on topics like link acquisition and content marketing.
- Monitor performance metrics to understand organic search performance across our international markets and measure the impact of changes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms, industry trends, and emerging SEO tools and techniques.
What you'll bring
- 2-4 years experience in an SEO-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Expertise in optimizing website architecture, metadata, and structured data.
- Ability to read and understand website code. Programming skills and experience in Javascript, Google Apps Script, or Python area plus.
- Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and how to optimize for them.
- Experience with international SEO, hreflang tags, and multilingual site optimization.
- Ability to manage and execute link-building campaigns ethically and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform strategies.
- Ability to adapt to changes in search engine algorithms and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent English skills. Other European languages are plus
