Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.
This is for a 12 hr weekend day shift. Previous experience is required.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all individuals on-site.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
