About the Role
G Force is seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. As a Security Guard, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment where customers and employees can feel at ease.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and professional presence at all entrances and throughout the premises.
- Deter unauthorized access through vigilance, observation, and excellent customer service.
- Patrol assigned areas to identify and report suspicious activity or potential risks.
- Assist customers and staff with professionalism, discretion, and respect.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety.
- Collaborate with management and fellow team members to resolve security concerns effectively.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, escalating to law enforcement when required.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia Security License (mandatory).
- Previous security guard or customer service experience required.
- Excellent grooming, presentation, and adherence to uniform standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse groups of people.
- Superior observational and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable standing and patrolling for extended periods.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to attend training or meetings as required.
