Security Guards Needed: You must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License and Valid G Class Drivers License w/ personal vehicle.
Contracted: Conservation Authority.
Duties: Patroling and providing security presence within a campground/conservation area. Enforcing park rules and regulations pertaining to alcohol, noise levels, golf cart use within the parks, providing a security presence over vast amounts of property.
Advantageous Abilities: Report writing, verbal communication, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, De-Escalation, Memory Recall, Social Ability.
This posting is for anyone who would love to experience a great stepping stone into a Law Enforcement type role. Performing the duties at the Conservation Area will have you interact with people from all walks of life, and learn how to build rapport with them while wearing a uniform. All sites will provide you the opportunity to learn more about yourself and how you work by yourself in an enforcement type role. Occasional interaction with first responders will give you a glimpse into what may be your future, and it's all done in the beautiful summer evenings outside around the great outdoors!
