Titan Steel, a leading steel service center with a focus on steel sales and plate processing in the Okanagan Valley, is looking to add to it's team. As we continue to grow we are looking for an operator to run our saw and support the shop in daily operations. Wages are negotiable based on experience. Experience with Steel an asset but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bandsaw, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize forklifts and hand tools for material handling and assembly tasks.
- Assisting shop in daily operations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- Blueprint reading: 1 year (preferred)
- Bandsaw: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
