Sanitation Worker – Food Processing Plant

This isn’t your typical janitorial job – at Prairie Meats LP, our Sanitation Workers play a crucial role in keeping our food processing facility running safely and efficiently. You’ll take on deep cleaning of specialized equipment and work in a cool, damp environment using pressure hoses and industry-standard sanitizing methods to ensure our products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Wash dishes and meat-processing equipment by hand.
- Operate a pressure washer for deep cleaning.
- Sanitize equipment and facilities to meet or exceed industry and health standards.
- Clean, straighten, and prepare equipment for the next production cycle.
- Empty garbage and cardboard bins, and take on extra cleaning tasks as needed.
- Work independently while staying on schedule.
What You Bring:
- Ability to follow precise instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Experience with sanitation practices is an asset, but we’ll provide training.
- Physical stamina to work in a cool, damp environment and handle pressure washing.
- Teamwork skills to help keep the operation running smoothly.
