Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
- Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and meet service goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are required.
