We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and restoration by using sandblasting techniques. The Sandblaster will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes for commercial projects.
Duties
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, strip, or prepare surfaces for painting
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of sandblasting machines and tools.
- Select appropriate materials and techniques based on the specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively in conjunction with sandblasting tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial painting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to sandblasting and surface preparation.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
