We are looking for a seasonal Line Cook to support our kitchen team in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes during our busiest time of year.
What you will be doing:
- preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines;
- setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies before and during service;
- following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times;
- collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service;
- upholding a positive and professional approach with coworkers in the back-of-house and front-of-house alike;
- assisting with prep work, receiving deliveries, and rotating inventory as needed;
- other similar duties as required from time to time.
- a passion for food and a minimum of 1-2 years of similar work experience;
- experience working with live fire cooking and smoking is considered a strong asset;
- the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant;
- knowledge in areas of garde manger, fryer, and grill;
- strong organizational skills and a great attention to detail;
- the ability to prioritize;
- a flexible work availability;
- food safe certification.
