Job Overview
Whale Ocean is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys initiating conversations, uncovering new business opportunities, and converting leads into loyal clients. You will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and nurturing potential clients through cold calls, DMs, and inbound inquiries across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Proactively identify and research potential clients through social media, directories, and online platforms
- Conduct cold calls and cold DMs to introduce Whale Ocean’s services to new prospects
- Qualify leads based on needs, budget, and readiness to buy
Sales Communication & Conversion
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Deliver compelling sales pitches using brand-aligned scripts and materials
- Clearly explain Whale Ocean’s marketing solutions and tailor proposals based on client goals
- Guide leads through the onboarding process or hand over to relevant internal teams
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, lead status, and sales progress in internal tracking systems
- Follow up regularly with leads and maintain strong pipelines for both short- and long-term conversions
- Provide feedback to the marketing and strategy teams on lead quality and common objections
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable with cold calling, outbound messaging, and handling objections professionally
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication etiquette
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing leads and follow-ups independently
- Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (especially Sheets/Excel)
- Prior experience in sales, business development, or agency services is preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours and respond during peak customer engagement periods
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
