SALES OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Summary
Sales Operations Assistant - You will play a crucial role in supporting Beta-Calco’s sales organization by acting as a factory-based liaison to the Director of Sales. This position requires a proactive, highly organized individual who can coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, support sales activities, and ensure smooth execution of events, sample distribution, and product launches. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities that directly contribute to the company’s sales growth and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Sales Support & Coordination
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to implement and advance company sales initiatives.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to track, follow up, and document quotation activity in the CRM system.
- Support the Director of Sales in gathering and organizing data for the Business Analytics team.
- Maintain accurate agency and client contact lists to support marketing campaigns and sales outreach.
- Support Customer Service and Quotes
Event & Visit Management
- Lead the planning and coordination of factory visits, including accommodations, transportation, entertainment, and facility readiness.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to organize and execute large-scale trade shows, from booth setup to event logistics.
- Support RSMs in preparing for regional trade shows, ensuring all materials, samples, and resources are delivered on time.
Sample & Product Launch Coordination
- Manage sample allocation for RSMs and agency partners, ensuring accurate tracking and timely distribution.
- Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) and Marketing teams to coordinate the rollout of new product samples.
- Assist with new product launches and presentations, ensuring sales teams are equipped with the tools and materials needed for success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with internal departments—including Production, Marketing, and NPD—to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and operational priorities.
- Take ownership of special projects that contribute to annual sales goals and process improvements within the sales department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally, including overnight stays.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to climb short ladders and use hand tools for trade show booth setup.
- Comfortable working in both office and factory environments, and interacting directly with customers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Canada and the USA.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
