Position Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of sales for our development projects. This leadership role involves managing a high-performing sales team, developing strategies to achieve ambitious revenue goals, and fostering strong partnerships with home buyers. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in real estate sales, a strategic mindset, and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and adapt tactics to changing conditions.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Provide coaching, training, and encourage professional development.
- Establish clear performance metrics and track results.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with realtors, and other partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for purchasers, providing market insights and project expertise.
- Negotiate contracts to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
Market Development & Lead Generation
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified buyers and investors.
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads, sales activity, and conversion rates.
Collaboration & Project Support
- Partner with development, finance, and legal teams to align contracts and pricing with project objectives.
- Organize site tours, presentations, and negotiations with potential buyers and partners.
- Consult with marketing for content, including brochures, presentations, and digital campaigns.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Provide regular sales performance reports and market insights to senior leadership.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Customer Experience
- Ensure clients enjoy a seamless experience from first contact through post-sale follow-up.
- Maintain long-term relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within development, real estate, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to lead teams to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience with the pre-sales process is desired.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the real estate market, land development processes, and industry stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM software and data-driven sales management.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
