Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rust Proofer to join our team. As a Rust Proofer, you will be responsible for applying rust prevention treatments to various surfaces and ensuring the protection of materials from corrosion. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
Duties:
- Apply rust prevention treatments to surfaces using appropriate techniques and materials
- Clean and prepare surfaces for rust proofing
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, fabricate, and modify parts as needed
- Inspect materials for signs of corrosion or damage
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
-Absolutely must have valid drivers license and clean abstract
-Must know how to drive manual vehicles
- Previous experience in rust proofing or a related field is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
