Position: Part-Time Run Specialist

You live and breathe running! Whether it’s track workouts, long road miles, or technical trail adventures. You know the difference a great pair of shoes, the right gear, and the right advice can make, and you’re eager to share that knowledge. You’re as comfortable talking about carbon-plated racers as you are discussing waterproof shells for winter trail days. You’re outgoing, approachable, and thrive in a space where community comes first.
About the Role
As a Run Specialist, you’ll be more than just a salesperson. You’re a resource, a
motivator, a first touchpoint and a part of the heartbeat of our running community. You’ll:
Welcome runners, walkers, and curious newcomers, helping them find the right gear for their goals.
Stay up to date on the latest products from the brands we carry at enroute.run, from
performance shoes to hydration vests to nutrition.
Contribute to weekly run events and community activations, building connections and
inspiring people to lace up.
Support back-of-house operations including receiving shipments, organizing stock, and
preparing for launches.
Maintain accurate inventory and communicate any discrepancies.
Keep the shop looking its best! Organized, inspiring, and ready for visitors.
Share feedback from customers with the team to help improve the experience for
everyone.
What We’re Looking For
A background in running (competitive, recreational, coaching, or club involvement) with
knowledge across track, road, and trail.
Strong communication skills - you know how to listen, connect, and share information in
a way that makes sense to each person.
Comfort with both customer-facing and operational tasks.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be involved in store events.
Ability to lift, move, and unpack boxes (5–40 lbs).
Nice to Have
Retail or specialty sports experience.
Familiarity with gait analysis or footwear fitting.
Involvement in local running communities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
