BTO Contracting is recruiting for the role of Rock Truck Driver/Packer Operator for a project in Ryley, Ab Landfill Job.
Details:
This is a project-based position, with a 24 Day on - 4 day off rotation schedule.
Duties:
This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
- Operate 40t Articulating Truck and support in civil landfill construction activities such as: backfilling, road surfacing, waste hauling.
- Follow directions from foreman.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
- Ability to work as a team and take direction.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Possess 1+ experience.
- Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.
- Experience operating in mountainous terrain considered an asset.
- Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
- Dress appropriately for all weather conditions.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Capable of physical Labour.
- Must provide CSA approved steeled toed safety boots above ankle height.
