We are looking for a part-time help, 2 to 3 days a week and shift being 7 to 8 hours
Job description
Revelstoke Garden Center are looking for seasonal part-time landscaper/labour . We are looking for individuals who want to learn and work in the horticulture industry. a. Employees will have many task from garden center to on-site landscaping
- loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Transplanting plants from a Landscape design
- help prep landscape jobs for topsoil and mulch
- operating a skid-steer and other landscaping equipment
- helping with growing and maintaining nursery stock
- Responsible for growing a wide variety of plants. Duties may include irrigation, fertilizing, pruning, pest scouting and stocking assigned area.
- Greenhouse task- growing seedlings
- Helping customers with Garden Centers purchases
- irrigation installs
- transplant/planting tree's, cedar hedges, conifers

Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance and transplanting
- Knowledge of horticulture practices
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques
- Transportation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working outdoors
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
