Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase store visibility and sales.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
- Proficient in retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, POS systems, Atlantic lottery, and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with budgeting, bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and time management principles.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing and inventory management.

- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience
- Must have Atlantic Lottery terminal and tobacco knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00-$43,000.00 per year
