Smithbilt Hats Inc. is hiring for a Retail Sales/Cashier to join the team!

The Retail Sales/Cashier reports to the General Manager and is responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience while handling day-to-day sales operations. This includes assisting customers, managing transactions, maintaining a clean and organized retail space, and promoting the Smithbilt Hats brand in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with hat fittings, product information, and personalized service.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, or via email in a courteous and professional manner.
- Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels on the sales floor.
- Support in merchandising, displays, and general retail upkeep.
- Resolve customer issues or concerns with a positive and solutions-focused attitude.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and management to support retail promotions and seasonal events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Retail sales experience with a proven track record of exceptional customer service.
- Cash handling and cashier experience required.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
