Rock Paper Silver is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. We are looking for someone who prides themselves in providing exceptional customer service. The ideal Assistant Store Manager will have 2+ years of management experience. Previous retail experience is an asset but not required. We offer a competitive training wage with a raise after the probationary training period is completed as well as: Ski Pass or similar Wellness Benefit, extended medical benefits, commission on large sales and a summer monthly bonus program that runs May through September.
Job Duties include the following:
- Create a professional environment that is welcoming to customers and staff
-Motivating the team to provide exceptional customer service
- Assisting the Store Manager and the Floor Manger with the day to day running of the store
- Staff Supervision
-Assist in the training of new team members
-Merchandising: stock is displayed neat and tidy in the "Rocks & Gems" manner
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the store and inventory control by doing daily, weekly and monthly tasks
- Change runs to the bank and supply runs
-Able to work a mix of closing, mid and opening shifts with set days off
