Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff members in various roles including cooks and bartenders to enhance team performance.
- Manage POS systems effectively to track sales, inventory, and customer preferences.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance and guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items that align with current trends in the food industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or food industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Familiarity with POS systems and their operation in a restaurant setting.
