Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Front Associate to oversee daily operations in our bustling establishment serving Hakka Desi Chinese Cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a positive dining experience for all guests.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
- Support staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols.
- Oversee inventory management, including food handling and cash handling procedures.
- Utilize POS systems (Toast POS preferred) for order processing and financial transactions.
- Manage and update the business's social media platforms
- Implement food safety practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant front or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Toast POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
