We are recruiting for a Residential Support Primary - Full Time - Contract up to 12 months with the possibility of extension. Working 80 hours per pay period.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Services (i.e. DSW, CYW, SSW) or an acceptable equivalent.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills. Good organizational, communication and problem solving skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with other staff, professional support services and members of the community.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- First Aid, CPR and have physical capacity to safely employ approved behavioural intervention techniques and a valid SMG certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Pharmacology (or willing to obtain)
- Good computer skills
- Good attendance record
- Up to date on all Mandatory Training
- Must be able to provide a clear vulnerable sector police check.
Contract up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Upon completion of the contract there is the option to remain with Community Living as a part time employee or apply for other vacancies that may be available.
