Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Cleaner to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive cleaning services for both residential homes and commercial facilities while maintaining our reputation for excellence. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction across diverse cleaning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Cleaning Services: Execute thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, restroom maintenance, kitchen/break room cleaning, and office space organization
- Commercial Facility Maintenance: Handle specialized commercial cleaning tasks such as floor care, window cleaning, trash removal, and maintenance of high-traffic areas
- Residential Services: Provide detailed home cleaning including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and laundry management as requested
- Laundry Management: Handle washing, drying, and proper care of linens, towels, and other household textiles as requested
- Schedule Management: Adhere to established cleaning schedules and efficiently manage time to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes
- Client Communication: Maintain professional communication with homeowners and business managers to understand specific requirements, preferences, and any special instructions
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure all areas meet company standards and client expectations across both residential and commercial settings
- Supply Management: Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory, reporting needs to management as necessary
- Special Projects: Address additional cleaning requests and seasonal tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Valid criminal background check (must be current and clear)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver's license and insurance
- Minimum of two (2) professional references from previous employers or clients
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential and/or commercial cleaning (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols for both residential and commercial environments
- Experience with various cleaning equipment and tools including commercial-grade equipment
- Understanding of different flooring types and appropriate care methods
