The opportunity 

 

As part of the Northern cattle production team, the successful candidate will contribute to research projects that are focused on delivering solutions for the livestock industry, in relation to reducing methane emissions from grazing cattle and improving productivity. The role will involve you working with cattle in pen and paddock environments and include preparing feed and diet supplements along with maintaining and cleaning the animal facilities, operation of cattle respiration system, calibrating and servicing remote sensing equipment and data collection.

Salary: AU$73k - AU$93k per annum (pro-rata for part-time) + 15.4% superannuation
