Job Overview
Cornerstone Construction is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team, specializing in interior renovations. The ideal candidate has experience in residential and commercial renovations, with a strong focus on framing, trim work, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, and finishing carpentry. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing, trim work, and custom carpentry for interior renovations.
- Install and repair doors, baseboards, crown molding, and wainscoting.
- Execute cabinet installation with precision and efficiency.
- Install flooring, including hardwood, laminate, and tile underlayment.
- Construct and install built-ins, shelving, and other storage solutions.
- Hang and finish drywall, including patching and repair work.
- Apply caulking and finishing touches for a polished appearance.
- Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Lift and handle materials safely while maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial interior renovations.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Experience in cabinetry, trim work, framing, drywall, and flooring.
- Ability to work from blueprints, technical drawings, and client specifications.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
