Stony Plain Registries is a busy, small town Registry office providing a variety of registry services including road testing. We are looking for a dedicated individual committed to exceptional customer service to become an integral member of our team.
Position:
Part Time Registry Clerk
Includes Saturdays
Requirements:
We are currently seeking applicants with registry service experience.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Must be friendly, articulate, patient and polite
- Must be energetic & outgoing with great communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service, solve problems and handle difficult situations
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- 18 years or older
- High School Education or equivalent
- Post-secondary courses in business, computers and working in the public an asset
Additional preference will be given to applicants with Corporate Registry Certification (Level 1/2), Person Property Certification, AB Health Insurance Certification, and/or Land Titles experience
Duties:
- Motor vehicle front counter services including renewing Registrations & Driver Licenses, printing Drivers Abstracts, performing eye tests, processing Driver License applications
- Vital Stats services including Marriage License applications, Birth Certificates, Legal Name changes, etc.
- Processing Lien Searches and Land Title Searches
- Corporate Registry Searches
- Process & reconcile payments on a daily basis
- Answering phones & booking road tests
