The Skilled Trades College of Canada is looking for a Campus Registrar in the Oakville, Vaughan and Toronto area . The Campus Registrar maintains the academic record of all students and plans and implements the registration process for classes.
Other responsibilities include keeping records of all college classes and curriculum prerequisites, determining students' graduation eligibility, planning graduation activities and preparing information such as honors lists, transcripts and class rankings.
Core responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Tracking and entering every student into our MCL software ensuring its integrity.
2. Uploading every student record with approved third-party data storage facility.
3. Manage KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting process. Ensuring college is compliant with all MTCU reporting requirements
4. Responsible for registering every student into accounting software.
5. Creating Mid-Terms and Final Transcripts for all students at all campuses
6. Work closely with the Assistant Director and Director to ensure that the college is compliant with all MTCU related reporting guidelines.
7. Responsible to create and maintain all student files to MTCU guidelines
8. Following up with Program Advisors and ensuring that all required information is provided by guidelines. Escalating any issues with program advisors to Director.
9. Responsible for maintaining Working at Heights, First-Aid, and WHMIS Safety Schedules:
a. Registering every participant in the class;
b. Organizing all safety related paperwork;
d. Sending Safety paperwork to appropriate agencies – i.e. Working at Heights to the Ministry of Labor; First-Aid to Red Cross website for certificate verification
10. Field Student inquiries
11. Assist instructors with class set-up for first day of classes
12. Preparation of all student graduation packages
13. Co-ordinate graduation days including coordinating lunch and ordering food, ensuring enough supplies, grad gifts etc.
14. Creating and maintaining payment plans and contract updates
15. Preparation of RESP letters, letters of enrollment and second career letters.
16. Responsible for completing collections for your specific locations – collecting tuition payment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
