The salary for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated abilities.
Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Lawyer with expertise in Real Estate, Wills and Estates, Corporate and Business Law to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas of law and will be committed to providing high-quality legal representation.
Responsibilities:
- Handle real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases.
- Advise clients on estate planning, draft wills, and manage estate administration.
- Provide counsel on corporate and business law matters, including incorporations, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide detailed legal opinions.
- Manage case files from inception through to resolution.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm.
- Represent clients in negotiations and dispute resolutions.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, wills and estates, corporate and business law.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario laws and regulations pertaining to these practice areas.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Willingness to work on-site in either Midland or Innisfil.

Pay: $62,350.00-$120,000.00 per year
