We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our Belleville team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating reach trucks as well as performing order picking. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Reach Truck and/or manual walkie to perform daily tasks assigned.
- Picking, and moving the skids as per the order.
- Loading, and offloading the products.
- Shipping, and receiving.
- Wrapping a skid prior to loading it to the trailer.
- Circle check of the forklift machine before and after to ensure safe work environment.
- Report any damaged products to the QC department.
- Work in a team to meet daily targets.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Follow safety rules and regulations to have a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Reach Truck Operator position is required (Crown and Raymond).
- Previous experience in Order Picking and use of a Walkie is required.
- Must have a valid forklift license for Crown/Raymond Reach Forklifts.
- Must have experience with walkies, dock stockers, and reach trucks.
- RF scanner experience is considered as a strong asset.
- Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting up to 50 Lbs.
- CSA-approved safety shoes.
Hours of Work: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (probationary rate)
