The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the Operations Manager in all aspects of store performance. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating a positive shopping environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead overall store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and staff supervision
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale of alcohol are strictly followed
- Scheduling of new staff and development of onboarding training plans
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and oversee product receiving and displays
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor and ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Prepare reports and assist with administrative duties as required

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of liquor products and regulations in Saskatchewan
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in retail management or business an asset
- 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a liquor or convenience store setting
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol in Saskatchewan
