THE ROLE


Under the supervision of the Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Facilities Supervisor, you will maintain facilities (grounds and indoor and outdoor playgrounds), inspect equipment and facilities to ensure they meet established safety standards and take any necessary corrective measures.
You will also be responsible for repairing or replacing defective or worn-out parts and components using appropriate tools, verifying inventory and reporting unusual conditions or out-of-order equipment to their supervisor.
Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring client safety so that Canadian Armed Forces members can use the PSP facilities efficiently and safely.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED


Education, Certifications and Licenses

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be consideredAND
A valid driver’s license (Quebec)

Experience

In the issuing of sports equipment
In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
In equipment maintenance
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs.
Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
