Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: North Vancouver Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Studying project plans and specifications to support execution
- Preparing detailed estimates and construction schedules
- Advising field staff on construction procedures and best practices
- Managing project costing, tracking, and reporting
- Establishing and maintaining cost codes
- Supporting subcontractor coordination and documentation.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy construction projects
- A degree in Engineering or a diploma in Civil Technology
- Proficiency in cost control, estimating, and planning techniques
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project
- A proactive mindset and a passion for learning and growing in the marine construction field
Skills/Abilities/Attributes:
- Project scheduling & planning (MS Project, Primavera)
- Cost estimation & budget tracking
- Document control & reporting
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Time management and attention to detail
- Knowledge of construction methods and safety standards
Salary: $70 - $100k per annum
