ROC Modular is recruiting a Project Coordinator to work out of our Calgary Head Office in support of our modular construction projects throughout western Canada and USA.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Technical diploma or degree in architectural, civil, construction management or similar;
· 2-5 years construction or manufacturing with purchasing experience
· Strong ability to prioritize tasks and organize large amounts of data/information.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels within the company;
· Consistent approach to digital file management
· Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and Powerpoint.
Duties of the position include:
· Perform project administrative and recordkeeping functions including the review and distribution of documentation; preparation of correspondence and meeting minutes, maintenance of files, logs, drawings, specifications, and purchase orders
· Support the material submittal approval process including
- Getting material data from vendors
- Administrate internal reviews by project and trade managers
- Prepare and submit to the client for review and approval
- Store approved drawings in a consistent manner
- Log revision number, submittal date and due dates
- Update team to avoid schedule delays
· Collect and store turn over documentation throughout the project for hand over at completion
· Prepare purchase requisitions for approval and assists with procurement of materials and equipment.
· Maintain material tracking sheet with accurate status, quantities and ETAs
· Coordinate the request for information (RFI) process, ensures RFIs are distributed to the appropriate team members
· Assist with the drawings management (revisions, site instructions and change order administration).
· Maintain QA/QC documentation, maintains records of all testing and inspections as directed by the QA manager.
· Assist with the completion of estimating as required
· Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
