As a PVB Offloader you will be responsible for offloading glass at the PVB Operation, loading glass onto the boggy, and performing additional tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload washed fabricated products from the washer.
- Sort washed products according to specified requirements.
- Operate jib cranes effectively to relocated materials within the production facility.
- Help other operators and team members as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Identify and report any damaged or defective products to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Receive cross-training and support operations in different departments to meet production demands.
- Adhere to a detailed schedule and production plan to ensure timely completion of tasks and orders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support overall production goals and operational needs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds of material.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience with jib crane operation is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset.
