Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.exoierience with steel, wood ,urethane foam production,and composite material is an asset.
Duties
- Lead and manage the production team to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards of quality.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste within the production environment.
- Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules, ensuring alignment with supply chain demands.
- Utilize ERP systems and MRP tools to monitor inventory levels and production metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations across departments.
- Conduct regular assessments of production processes to identify areas for improvement using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Monitor quality control measures to guarantee that products meet established specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production management or similar roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes.
- Proficiency in ERP processing an asset
- Experience with supply chain management and MRP systems is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies, including continuous improvement practices.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices within a manufacturing setting.
