Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our cabinet manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for quality, on-time performance & communication. This role involves managing various aspects of all ongoing projects, communicating internally as well as to outside customers and keeping projects on time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain high standards of customer service through effective phone etiquette and interpersonal communication.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ensuring inventory matches demand.
- Ensure proactive customer communication in relation to schedules and delivery
- Monitor all ongoing projects and ensure schedules are maintained through communication with staff.
- Meet daily with estimating and purchasing manager to ensure materials required to meet schedules are ordered.
- Continually adjust manufacturing schedules based on material availability, customer timelines and internal backlogs based on meeting with owner and purchasing manager.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project and/or shop management.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
- Excellent budgeting and administrative skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
