Job Title: Production Line Lead

Job Purpose:
The Production Line Lead is responsible for monitoring and maintaining optimal climate conditions and contamination controls within production rooms, overseeing daily operations, managing inventory levels, and ensuring productivity targets are met. This role is essential in upholding production quality, optimizing resources and coordinating with multiple departments to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Product Performance and Production Management:
- Conduct product release and emergence tests, collaborating closely with procurement teams to address and resolve any product quality issues that arise.
- Drive productivity in BCA production by optimizing the use of materials, labor, and facility resources, ensuring that we meet production goals efficiently.
2. Climate and Contamination Control:
- Ensure the production rooms maintain optimal climate conditions, including temperature, humidity, air quality, and lighting, by utilizing advanced monitoring tools such as Sensor Push.
- Work closely with the Property Maintenance team to promptly address and resolve any climate control issues that may arise.
- Proactively monitor contamination risks through regular inspections and implement stringent sanitization protocols to maintain a safe production environment.
- Oversee workflows and manage the controlled entry of materials and personnel into production areas to minimize contamination risks.
3. Cost, Productivity, Reporting:
- Accurately track and report weekly expenses, material costs, and productivity metrics, growth rates, to ensure financial accountability and operational effectiveness.
- Analyze trends in material consumption and issue timely purchase requests based on inventory needs.
4. Daily Operations, Task Management:
- Make informed, strategic decisions regarding harvesting processes to optimize production outcomes and other relevant areas.
- Train, coach, and mentor production team members to help them achieve their performance targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks across production lines, ensuring clear communication about workload and resource availability to relevant departments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production management or a related field, or who have worked in climate- controlled or agricultural environments.
- Understanding of climate control systems, contamination control measures, and effective inventory management practices.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and promote collaboration.

- Capability to analyze productivity metrics and provide actionable insights that contribute to improved production processes.
