Compensation: $19–$23/hour (Based on experience)
Job Summary
We are hiring a Production Assistant to join our signage and vinyl graphics team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in signage, apparel, and vehicle graphics — with opportunities to grow into a certified trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Weed vinyl decals with precision
- Apply premask transfer tape and prepare cut graphics
- Use a ruler and utility knife to cut and process vinyl
- Prepare and install vinyl onto flat signage panels in the production bay
- Heat press Apparel using DTF transfers
- Clean and prep vehicles (trucks, vans, trailers) for installation
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Perform light duties such as emptying garbage and organizing tools during slower periods
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Physically able to work on your feet throughout the day
- Able to follow instructions and retain information
- Must speak intermediate English or better
- Bonus: personal vehicle and valid driver's license
- Detail-oriented and careful with materials
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Hands-on and proactive with problem-solving
Career Growth Opportunity
This role is structured to lead into a career in vinyl installation. After 3 months of consistent performance, eligible team members may be enrolled in:
- Vinyl Installer Training (VIT)
- Advanced Installer Training (AIT)
After 1 year of growth and demonstrated reliability, you may be eligible to take:
- Preferred Installer Testing (PIT)
While payroll caps around $30–$35/hour, contractors working under our Installer Network can earn $50–$60/hour, depending on skill level and certification. These roles are earned — not given — and are intended for those who bring long-term energy, focus, and discipline to the team.
