Production Worker (Langley)
Answering to the Team Leader Workshop, the Production Technician (Langley) will be responsible for, but not limited to the fabrication of automatic door operators. We are looking for a detail orientated individual who is also a team player and possess superior customer service skills, measurement accuracy, computer knowledge, and clear communication.
Major Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
· Working as part of the production team with fabrication of door operators, sawing, and processing aluminum profiles
· Final assembly and testing of finished products
· Handling glass and glazing door panel components
· Operating forklift, sawing, and machining equipment safely
· Build crating materials for TCA products for shipping
· Loading & unloading delivery trucks
· Keeping work area / warehouse clean and safe
· Helping conduct inventory cycle counts

· Ability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams that are somewhat complicated or precise in nature
· Excellent time management skills and flexibility are required
· The ability to read and understand tape measures and other measuring tools in metric and imperial
· Knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory
Qualifications
· 1 - 2 years of fabrication experience preferred
· Valid BC drivers license required with the ability to prove a clean driving record
· Use of basic hand and power tools
· Positive attitude, with an ability to foster an atmosphere of trust and transparency
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
· Experience with forklift, packing, and measuring is an asset
· Strong command of English language
· Basic mathematical skills

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
